Description
The olive tree grows slowly and lives for centuries, which made a mature olive grove a family’s long-term inheritance rather than a season’s crop. Its fruit was pressed for oil used in cooking, lamps, and anointing — one tree serving kitchen, sanctuary, and throne room alike.
